TOUCH PORTAL

A 2-day embodied experience in touch, receiving, intimacy and connection.

Touch Portal is an immersive weekend for people who want to get out of their heads and experience connection through the body.

Together, we'll explore intentional, consensual and non-goal-oriented touch as a pathway into something much bigger: your capacity to feel, communicate what you want, receive, experience pleasure and stay connected to yourself while being close to another person.

Touch is the practice. Connection is the point.

WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO DO THIS?

Because how you relate through touch often mirrors how you relate everywhere else.

Maybe you're brilliant at giving but uncomfortable receiving.

Maybe you automatically focus on whether the other person is having a good time rather than noticing your own experience.

Maybe you crave intimacy but struggle to ask for what you want.

Maybe saying no feels harder than simply going along with something.

Maybe affection always seems to come with an expectation that it needs to lead somewhere.

Or maybe you've become so accustomed to living in your head that you're not entirely sure what your body wants anymore.

These patterns don't stay inside a touch workshop.

They show up in relationships, sex, friendships, communication, boundaries and your ability to experience pleasure.

Touch Portal gives you somewhere to slow these moments right down and practise something different.

The intention is to leave with a greater capacity to feel yourself, trust your signals, communicate what you need, receive without guilt and experience closeness without abandoning yourself.

WHAT WE'LL EXPLORE

Across the two days, we'll move gradually from connection with yourself into connection with others through experiences such as:

  • Guided body awareness and somatic practices

  • Self-touch and sensory exploration

  • Needs and desire exercises

  • Practising clear yeses, nos and changes of mind

  • Asking for the kind of touch you actually want

  • Giving and receiving without automatic reciprocation

  • Non-goal-oriented partnered touch

  • Exploring different qualities, pressures and rhythms of touch

  • Practising receiving attention without performing

  • Communication and consent exercises

  • Playful connection experiments

  • Guided reflection and integration

Everything is invitational. There is no expectation to touch or be touched, remove clothing or participate in any particular exercise. Choice itself is part of the practice.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

Touch Portal might be for you if you:

Give much more easily than you receive.

Struggle to know what you want when somebody asks.

Want stronger boundaries without becoming closed off.

Feel disconnected from your body or pleasure.

Crave more touch, affection or intimacy.

Want to become more comfortable asking for what feels good.

Notice yourself performing during intimacy rather than actually experiencing it.

Want to explore touch without the pressure for it to become sexual.

Want to feel more comfortable being seen, cared for and attended to.

Or simply want more connection, presence, pleasure and aliveness in your life.

You don't need to arrive confident, embodied or comfortable with touch.

That's why we're practising.

WHAT TO EXPECT

This isn't two days of being thrown immediately into intense intimacy.

We build gradually.

We begin with you — sensation, body awareness, boundaries, needs, desire and choice — before moving into interpersonal practices.

You'll have opportunities to work with different people, pause, observe, opt out, modify practices and decide what feels appropriate for you.

Expect conversation.

Movement.

Touch.

Laughter.

Curiosity.

Probably some awkwardness.

Moments of vulnerability.

Moments of pleasure.

And lots of opportunities to notice yourself in real time.

Because underneath all of the exercises is a much bigger question:

Can I stay connected to myself while I'm in connection with somebody else?

Can I ask?

Can I receive?

Can I say no?

Can I change my mind?

Can I experience pleasure without performing for it?

Can I let somebody give to me?

Touch Portal gives us a place to practise.

And those are skills you get to take far beyond the room.
